The resort is an ideal place to stay for all types. I did not get the meal plan - instead ate most of my meals at the Backpackers restuarant and pub next door (cheaper option). One night however, I did eat at the South Beach restuarant which the fish was devine. Excellent service at all times. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I also did my PADI course on Mana Island - which I also recommend doing - it has so many wonderful dive sites, all very close by the island. Such as providing different toiletries for ladies (coconut fragrance) and men (mana ai fragrance) of pure Fiji products and putting little bottles of water next to the bed during the night time turn down. The food is amazing and alcoholic drinks very reasonably priced. Staff are extremely friendly and professional. You are able to do as much or as little as you like while at Liku Liku and you really don't need to spend any extra money keeping yourself entertained as there are so many beautiful natural wonders around the resort for you to explore. "Malolo Island Resort is simply the best of the best! There really is nothing negative to say about this place! We stayed in a beachfront bure wich was immaculately clean (the beautiful housekeeping staff came twice a day!) and had the most comfortable beds and airconditioning. The whole resort was spotless wherever you went and there was always someone on hand to help you with any request! They even organised a special visit to the village for us as we were leaving on the day the tour normally went. The staff were amazingly friendly, even by Fiji standards. They knew all of our 5 kids' names by day 1 and were always happy to take them off to play or learn something exciting. You couldn't find a better place for a family holiday! The food at Malolo is top quality every meal and could compete with any 5 star restaurant in the world. The snorkelling was really good right out the front of our bure and there were lots of other tours and activities going on all day and in the evenings. I really could go on and on about this place as it really is the best resort I've ever known for so many reasons. We felt like we were leaving family when we had to go home. We spent 7 wonderful days at Yasawa Island, could not fault anything, the staff was excelent, JOJO and Peter (Managers) perfect host, the food AAA+++, the fish we caught in the morning was cooked for us at lunch. All in all I do recommend it to any one. This was our 5th visit to FIJI

"We loved our Fiji experience! Everything was as we expected. Diving was super. Mark and Sue at the Beqa Lagoon Island Resort were awesome hosts. We enjoyed their hospitality, conversation and first hand experiences. The food was attractive, delicious and my children found new foods to try and enjoy. The room was spacious, relaxing, and so comfortable. Quiet. Very Quiet. We loved to sit on our deck and listen to the ocean and quiet! Dinners were family style and we enjoyed conversation with new friends, our hosts, and especially our children. Our single favorite experience was the diving ~ unanimously. Beqa Resort provided superb diving. The Dive team did a top notch job with gear, assistance and choosing locations. Diving was like being in a beautiful aquarium Everyone at the Resort was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, attractive and the beds were heavenly! There was so much offered for us to try. I regret not having a Spa experience, but others found them relaxing. We went to visit the school. We enjoyed the choir and Meke dancers that came to the resort. John the island wedding coordinator was so amazing and easy going, nothing was too much trouble.
